Please read the source in its entirety.

I observe that the inimitable Elkhound was not included; undoubtedly because it would have put other dogs to shame. :-) /joke

The best breed of all, the Pug, isn’t even listed on the expanded list. Not fair!

This dog is feistier and nastier than all
the other mutts on your list -- combined!

This rates a “duh.” Little dogs are hyper and bouncy and run all over the place...big dogs are more laid back. Well, maybe with the exception of a few Chows and Chow mixes I’ve known, now those were some crazy dogs. (And maybe greyhounds, but they’re only hyper for 30 minutes a day...the other 23:30, they’re furniture that wants petting.)

They are not feisty, they will just eat you if you come in uninvited.

If it's not a Basenji, it's just a dog.

I'm hooked on Shiba Inu’s. They have a big dog look but in a little body. They don't bark allot, their cunning, and let me tell you about cute. You younger fellas need to be aware of the Chick-Magnet potential of a Shiba puppy.

I also note that Irish Setters (either show or sporting breed) are not listed. I presume that’s because they are to ADD to sustain a grudge or engage in aggressive behavior. Ours is the picture of domestic lunacy and docility, until you try to groom him. Then, you’d better have a whip and chair in hand or a tranquilizer gun.

Our boxer, on the other hand, is the most docile, loving, slobbering, shedding bundle of plumpness you can imagine. She looks ferocious, but she’d lead you to the family jewels and wait for her treat.

It should be noted that male dachshunds have an uncanny ability to mate with any female dog variety. And will, when you least expect it.

No big surprise.

The term "feist" - an old Southern word - means a small, yappy, bouncy dog of indeterminate parentage.

I will say that my Labs are not so mellow as all that, being field bred.

My 100% field bred black Lab is so feisty, she rushed my camera at age 7 weeks:

'course, she just wanted to give me a great big sloppy puppy kiss, not eat me alive. After all, I had just rescued her from the cargo hold of a jetliner and an open baggage cart on the apron at Hartsfield Atlanta.

I see greyhounds and whippets are the least agressive, which is my experience.

I'll be writing in my shepherd for president come November; he's way smarter than Obama, and far more conservative than McCain. He's strong on defense without being overly aggressive and his domestic policy is pretty much limited to going to the bathroom exclusively in outdoor venues.

Confirmed, Siberian Huskies are extremely friendly dogs.

Not rated, the West Highland White Terrier; generally needy, active, a bit snippy, extremely smart.

I was really surprised to see beagles up there as more prone to bite...I’ve had 3 over the years and they all were so mellow you could take food out of their mouths without them snapping or even growling...my Siberian Husky on the other hand would try to take your arm off if you got near her when she was eating!

Totally anecdotal here.....but here's my 2 bucks worth.

I cleaned swimming pools while I went to college....I carried dog biscuits with me...as I had plenty of dogs on my route.

Labs..Rotties, muts, poodles, and some sort of deranged little devil dog....etc....

The labs wore me out throwing balls to them....The rotties would lean on me the whole time I was cleaning...darn near pushed me into the pool more than one time. The poodles I hardly ever saw....peed on themselves when I walked into the yard.

The little freak devil dog...I hated. I had to fend him off with my pole and net..all the way to the pool. Once I got to the pool he would pretty much leave me alone...while planning his ambush on my way back to my truck. He bit me once.

Another time...while breaking down in the middle of nowhere Mississippi....I walked up a long driveway to a house, and found two pit bulls, and a little white terrier looking dog running at me and barking.

My heart beat a bit faster...and I noticed the pit bulls tails wagging...so I felt better..and kept going. The little devil pup...wanted a piece of me though. Kept circling like a great white....until I got to the house.

Had trouble finding anyone home...and took my eye off the little white devil...and he got me on the calf..right above my boot. I howled a little on that one....Ha!!

Moral of the stories...Watch the little devil dog..!!
