Maybe, but maybe not. Obama's mama was not yet 19 when he was born.

Relevance?

At a minimum, if Obama was not born in the U.S. (and I'll admit that is a big if), his mother should have been required to prove she continuously resided in the U.S. for the requisite 5 years required by this law...

Assuming such proof was necessary, there is no evidence I'm aware of indicating she lived anywhere but the U.S. from the time of her birth in 1942 until her 'marriage' to Obama, Senior in 1961. That would be a period of 18 years, including 2 years after age 14. Her parents could have vouched for that if necessary.

As Obama says "you can't vet the vetters..." right? So why try? The relevance is tht you have a guy running for President who continually gets caught up in lies about his past. Not the Jerimiah Wright he knew, etc. Let his grandmother vouch for him as you pointed out...wait, you'll have to get her out from under the bus first.

Better yet ask both candidates to prove it, maybe we can get a redo on both.

Proving that even a stopped clock is right twice a day (whether me or thee), we are in agreement on the irrelevancy of this nonsense about Hussein's citizenship, at least until someone comes up with some real proof. If we two are in agreement, who can stand against us?

In other news, the earth is now expected to reverse the direction in which it turns on its axis.
