Today I pulled the image of the birth certificate from the Obama website and called the Department of Health in Hawaii and got an email address and sent the birth certificate as an attachment.
I asked them if this image was of a valid, authentic birth certificate. I will let you know their response.
I think we're treating this a bit too lightly, there are many unanswered questions with huge implications, not the least of which is the trustworthiness of the candidate. If DOH says definitively that some fields were manipulated, the logical question would by why? It seems there are many areas of concern, even a question about the marital status of his mother and father.
Again, I will let you know their answers.

The issue of Obama’s birth and pedigree has been discussed openly for months beginning with the requests by the MSM for a bona fide birth certificate. A BC is finally provided AFTER he wins the nomination.
I think that the responsibility is on Obama’s back to prove his birth history and pedigree.
Also, today other news outlets are picking up on this.
Bill Clinton never released his health records either and there are rumors of a cocaine induced heart attack.
I am not questioning the law you state, but is i possible that the law was different in 1967 through 1972?
I suspect he was Barry Durham at birth, and later changed to Barack Obama
I’ve casually researched Obama’s birth history over the past several days. As you know it’s largely taken from his own auto-bio and has never been corroborated by anyone independently.
Here’s what I and others have found:
1. TWO HOSPITALS LISTED AS BEING WHERE OBAMA WAS BORN
I googled “Obama’s birthplace” and got the following:

Obama was born on August 4, 1961, at the Kapiolani Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Obama, Sr., of Nyangoma-Kogelo, Siaya District, Kenya, and Ann Dunham, of Wichita, Kansas.
COMMENT:This is different from what other sites list including Obama friendly sites. They state that OBAMA was born at Queen’s Medical Center.

ALSO: Kapiolani Hospital did not open until 1989 although the Hospital for women and children was open at the time.
This discrepancy in my mind is interesting BECAUSE THERE SHOULD BE NO DISCREPANCY.
2. NO RECORD OF BIRTH OR MARRIAGE OF PARENTS.
I searched via the pay investigative site Ancestry.com for Barry or Barack Obama, or Barry or Barack Dunham or Stanley Ann Dunham etc. and keyed in also Aug 4, 1961 and Hawaii, and Honolulu etc. and came up with no record of a birth or marriage. Others have checked this through similar but different searches and also found nothing.
3. BIRTH CERTIFICATE CLEARLY A FORGERY
The Birth Certificate posted on the Obama website and Daily Kos appears to be a forgery.

4. NO EYE WITNESSES OF BIRTH
There have been no eye witnesses of Obama’s birth from the hospital. No nurse or doctor coming forth to recall caring for the mother or child.
5. KENYAN RELATIVES HAVE TOLD REPORTERS THAT HE WAS BORN IN KENYA
It has been reported that Kenyan relatives initially had said that Obama was born there but are silent about this now.

This man is running for the presidency of the United States. It seems fair and proper that the public knows his birth history and pedigree.

How can we get a petition going? How can we post it? Does anyone know? If so, I propose that we send the following signed petition to Senator Obama.
“Senator Obama, there has been a concensus among computer graphics experts that the birth certificate posted on your website is a fake and certainly not an official document issued by the State of Hawaii. When one searches public archives there is no record of you being born in Hawaii or of a marriage between your parents. In addition, two websites list two different hospitals as your hospital of birth. People are asking if you indeed were born here or in Kenya as it has been reported that your relatives at one time contended to the media that you were born in Kenya. We support your legal right to run for the office of President of the United States providing that you meet the natural born citizenship requirements. Unfortunately, Sir, there is the appearance here that you are hiding something regarding your birth record and pedigree. We therefore, respectfully ask that you release your original birth certificate and hospital records to the public. If you choose to refuse please give the American public the reason why”

I like mysteries...I think grandmother is heavily doped up in a nursing home under the careful guard of the black bow tie crowd.
No one has ever asked to see my marriage license except the Army, the VA and Social Security. Not the IRS, no insurance company, no bank, no school- it really is amazing that our family was on a state employee insurance policy for many years and yet they never asked for proof that we were married.
I do think Obama should be required to prove he is eligible to be President. Our Constitution has requirements spelled out for the office, and he should have to show that he meets the requirements.
Yet ... the US Constitution is clear:
No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.That makes it YOUR duty as a good citizen to determine beyond reasonable doubt that Mr. Obama meets that very explicit criterion for holding office.
And in this case there is a most reasonable question as to Mr. Obama's birth. Mr. Obama's own campaign has raised the question by posting a document that almost certainly is a forgery.
Hawaii should make a clear official response. And every good citizen should insist that they confirm what he has ALREADY presented, that under official seal and by the oath of their office they affirm that is a accurate statement of the facts of his birth as known to their office.

It is so easy to prove or disprove his birth. Hospital records, newspaper announcements, etc.
Everyone is hung up on the fact that the State of Hawaii has changed the wording on Birth Certificate records.
My two bothers, my wife, my brother-in-law and sister-in-law were all born in the same state within 12 years of each other. My wife's birth certificate looks like my younger brother's. All others are different.
Finally, all this BS distracts us from the main issue.
This is a far-left radical tax-and-spend, Black Reparations paying, “blame-everything-on Whitey,” Israel-hateing, “Let's Destroy America” senator from a very crooked Chicago political machine!
He could have been born in the White House and he would still be the most dangerous man ever nominated by a major political party!

So the wording is changed. That doesn’t make it forged. See my comment about the others. I have three copies of mine. Two look the same, one with a raised seal, one without. The other is completely different, on security paper, with holograms etc. Are two of the three forged?
