It is becoming more common for home invaders to impersonate the police. This is really spooky for both cops and victims. Maybe it was a bad idea for police to start impersonating hooded thugs. Maybe it's time for them to stop dressing up and playing like paramilitary ninjas and go back to looking like police officers again.

OK what the heck... i will bite! would you prefer the cops go out and face the criminals to day with weaker weapons (which in most cases the are still underarmed) without appropriate protection against the weapons that are out there. perhaps you should speak w/ a law enforcement officer that has to face these dangers everyday... see if they think they are running around like hooded ninja or are trying to protect both themselves and the public on an equal playing field. or had that thought crossed you mind before you made that comment.

Seems to me it’s too far from the border to be Mexican
Cops/Army/Etc.
Narco-Terrorists or local Thugs makes better sense to me.
I thought there was a thread posted but couldn’t find one.
Every one of the border towns is a War Zone...

The only place that police face "these dangers everyday" is on TV. Being a cop is nowhere near as dangerous as the TV shows would have you believe. Just about any construction worker has a more dangerous job. There are too many "no-knock" or dynamic entries for anyone's safety. They are like little boys dressing up and playing war.
I think the kid's about to bite him. Good thing he's wearing tactical gloves!
Where are the Ninjas when there are real people with real guns like Columbine? Oh, outside hiding in the parking lot.
Don't get me wrong I support our police. I just don't support the Barney Fife misfits that want to emulate Gestapo tactics.
Such behavior opens the door to copycats.

what makes this one really different is that they were impersonating phx pd, with phx pd shirts, and apparently were trying to ambush phx pd
this info was brought out by jd hayworth who had been given an internal phx pd memo, and he had on the phoenix law enforcement association (spokesperson) who appeared to authenticate the information
these three arrested (up to three on the loose) i think indicated they were either former or current mexican military
this is a first that phx pd were impersonated to this extent, and it may involve another nation’s military, and that they were trying to ambush our pd
according to bad guys, they ran out of ammunition, none left for phx pd
this hasn’t been “investigated or reported” by the local pro illegal and pro uncontrolled-immigration newspapers

agree, every border town is in a war zone
look at laredo, and nuevo laredo

It’s closer to 200 miles from my home here in Sierra Vista to the intersection of 83rd and Osborn in west Phoenix...
90 - 120 miles from various parts of Phx to Nogales, I ‘spect...

i don’t think that they will
az central web site reported the home invasion the day it happened (1 dead, 3 arrested, 1 on loose)
site said that it would update as soon as more information was available
still not updated, to get the information, i had to go to independent tv station web site, azfamily.com to get the guys names, and that police think there may be up to three more on the run
az republic, nada, tribune, nada

***at least one person, in full-body armor
Which is why you aim for the head.***
Depends what you could put in your hands with 2 seconds notice.
