She’s a good Democrat. Since she’s a good Democrat, none of this matters. Heck, with her foreclosure problem she can claim to feel the pain of ordinary people who have been foreclosed upon.
The rule is: what is the political party of the person who has problems? If they are Republican, they are to be investigated and crucified. If they are Democrat, the rule is, they are somehow a victim, and/or, whatever they did doesn’t matter; doesn’t pertain to their public job responsibilities, etc.
And then for good measure, outraged defenders of the good Democrat will say we are fighting a war, dealing with $4 a gallon gasoline, and that we should be discussing those problems, not whatever trouble the good Democrat has gotten into.

If a Republican defaults on a loan he/she is a dead-beat bastard who shouls be prosecuted and driven from office.
If a Democrat defaults on a loan he/she is a “victim of the mortgage crisis”.

Richardson will be re-elected in a landslide by California voters. In fact, she may now be ready for the Senate. Remember, Barabara Boxer was one of the biggest check-bouncers (144) in the House banking scandal and Californians couldn't wait to elect her to the US Senate. (Wow, what a toilet!)
