The results of that change brought on us by the plague of
humanists and secularists and socialist and eco planet worshipers and just plain deviate sex pushers..has
attacked this great land -
The 2nd civil war is near an end and we are losing very badly when a presidential candidate can speak such words and still remain in the race.
The founding fathers told us : “heres your republic now see if you can keep it.” we have let them down.
Just remember, the MSM said he's Christian, and he didn't go to a Madras, and they won't mention his mother or father much, and mentioning his middle name makes you a xenophobe...... He epitomizes the adage of “A wolf in sheep skin.”
His vision and positions on issues such as the Second Amendment gives insight into what he really thinks of the US Constitution, it's toilet paper for him. Except when he can quote it in some context as it might pertain to free speech, abortion on demand, an expansion of social services......... he sees the US Constitution as obsolete, antiquated and out of place with his new global, multilateral, inclusive, America that isn't Christian anymore. This man is dangerous and it goes far beyond what he would cause in Iraq or elsewhere, specifically missile defense etc....... He's outright a threat to the very base of what legitimizes our government and empowers it, the US Constitution. People like him, who see it as a living document, and that the core principals are negotiable, really don't believe in the very concept and spirit of what it means or in his mind, meant. Scary!
Alexis de Tocqueville, “America is great because of churches”.....1830
More than 150 years ago, French statesman Alexis de Tocqueville came to America looking for the secret of its greatness. He wrote:
I sought for the greatness and genius of America in her commodious harbors and her ample rivers and it was not there in her fertile fields and boundless forests and it was not there in her rich mines and her vast world commerce and it was not there in her democratic Congress and her matchless Constitution and it was not there. Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power. America is great because she is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.
“Never were a Christian nation.”
I agree. If we were a true Christian nation we would have to apply the First Commandment and all non-Christian worship would have to cease. In fact, technically religious freedom would be against the First Commandment.
However, considering today’s events, we may become a Muslim nation and all non-Muslim worship will be banned.
Yep, I listened. We may no longer be a “Christian” nation. That part could be factual. But Obama is no Christian (in the evangelical sense). No believer could say that about his country without conveying a sense of mourning. Obama seemed almost gleeful.
I realize that there are people who rejoice that we are becoming less Christian as a nation. While some of them may be well-meaning, moral people; don’t patronize me by trying to convince me that those people are also Christian.
One is not a Christian by calling himself one. God calls you into that relationship of love through Jesus Christ. Once in that relationship, you cannot rejoice in expressions of opposition to that relationship. That would be like being joyful when someone calls your wife a whore. It is just not going to happen. And your wife may, in fact, be a whore. God is perfect.
THIS IS A CHRISTIAN NATION, FOUNDED ON CHRISTIANITY, YOU DIMWIT!
I was eating at a restaurant yesterday and there were two clearly gay men talking (loudly) about how when they elect Obama they were going to “make those mother f***ing conservatives pay!”
If Obama gets elected get ready to see conservatives thrown in jail.
From The Audacity Of Hope, “We are no longer just a Christian nation,” “We are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers.”
He told us that long ago in his book- as well as how he hates whites and loves Islam, but we were too dumb to get it.

Ask the Founders. They clearly based their concept of governance on Natural Law arising from JudeoChristian principles. Your error comes from the insipid liberal 20th century belief that to be a "Christian Nation" means to operate some kind of exclusionary theocracy. Go educate yourself. Read what the Founders actually said. They were a very literate bunch. Read Joseph Story. You'll learn stuff you never knew before.
Other than a fraction of a % who were Jewish, most Americans were at least nominal Christians at the time of the Revolution, the Civil War, and well into the 19th century. The appearance of substantial numbers of Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, and other so-called faith groups is a very recent event. So yes, the U.S. was an overwhelmingly Christian nation until recently. It is now following the same path to cultural suicide as Europe.
I await the poll results which validate this hopeful assertion.
Has he made his daily apology for something yet today?
I really don’t see any difference of substance in Obama’s and McCain’s statements. The problem with this election is no matter what stupid thing Obama has said, you can find something equally as irritating said by McCain.
Glass houses and stones and all that stuff, you know.
Obama:
“Whatever we once were, we’re no longer a Christian nation. At least not just. We are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, and a Buddhist nation, and a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers,” Obama said during a June 2007 speech available on YouTube.
John McCain:
McCain also noted that he was in the opposition when the Arizona Republican Party several years ago endorsed a resolution declaring the United States to be a Christian nation.
``I am a Christian,’’ McCain said, ``and devotion to my faith is integral to my own pursuit of happiness. But we are not only a Christian nation.’’

Tocqueville never said this. Like many others, you've been had.
Maybe that’s his plan—make a controversial statement so often that it’s commonplace—pretty soon no one notices anymore. This is how lefties operate with everything.

The Left just can’t leave anything alone, can they?
