Let me see if I’ve got this straight.
The fate of Western Civilization is in the balance, and the very best person the republicans could find was McCain???

My thoughts exactly! The GOP forces this moron down our throats, then we are told that the entire fate of civilization depends on us to agree with them. What a bunch of lunatics!

The fate of Western Civilization is in the balance, and the very best person the republicans could find was McCain??? ROTFL, how very true. More scare tactics. No President can save western civilation, especially McCain or Obama.
We all best be thinking about doing that ourselves.

"The fate of Western Civilization is in the balance, and the very best person the republicans could find was McCain??? McCain came to us via the primary process. The last time I heard this was a democratic process.

Good point. I am unable to vote in US elections but my wife can by mail. She can sometimes get past my emotionality and provide a pragmatic understanding of what is at stake.
I told her about a company I invested in called Barrick Gold. I don't like the people who lead the company. I don't like what the company stands for. But I bought shares anyways because they were undervalued and sold it on a pop for a profit.
So she said “see, you made a decision to do something despite your pride and disgust. Voters must do the same with McCain”
Yes, it is about the war on Islam. But also the Supreme Court. And I truly believe Obama and the Congress will make Ayn Rand's vision in Atlas Shrugged a reality.

From the lofty leadership and pure elegance of Abe Lincoln, down to the back stabbing sanctimonious driveling weasel of McCain.
We, the Republican party, have come a long way My Friend. We have tapped into the lowest sludge in the cesspool of politics My Friend.
