When Losing Isnt Affordable
November and The War on Islamofascism
By Rene Guerra
Unambiguous success in Iraq and unequivocal victory in the rest of the global war on Islamofascism is not a choice; we don’t have any other alternative, for it is a matter of our very survival. It is not a matter of “prestige” or any other hubristic notion; it is about our own hide, particularly when America faces the grim prospect of Barack Hussein Obama becoming the next president of the United States of America.
The term “Unambiguous Success in Iraq”, cited in the above opening paragraph, is deemed to mean: 1- Defeat of terrorists to insignificance or, better, to nonexistence, 2- Disarmament and disbandment of all militias, 3- Strengthening of the military and all other security forces, 4- Cementing effective democracy (democratic elections and participatory-democracy form of governance), 5- Activation of the economy of Iraq, 6- Further stabilization of the entire country; and 7- Enrollment of Iraq as an active ally in the rest of the global war on Islamofascism.
The Backstab America Mob
However, the Democrat Party of nowadays and the rest of the Left, along with the Backstab America Mob (the BAM) have been intensively engaged -- since before the launch of Operation Iraqi Freedom on March 20, 2003 -- in impeding America’s success, and even facilitating her defeat in Iraq.
The BAM . . . what’s that?
They used to be benignly called “The Blame-America-First Crowd” (BAFC) from the milestone speech that Jeane Kirkpatrick -- that remarkable true American of -- delivered at the Republican Convention in 1984...

I’d settle for one that’s on my side of the aisle.
With every insult my resolve is further solidified.
Absent some 180 degree reversals, the GOP nominee will not get my vote. I don’t think he needs it anyway.
I wish someone would start a ping list of people who have to contemplate how much they are going to have to drink in order to vote for McCain.
I am thinking a fifth of Maker’s Mark and a small glass of water and it’s only June....
One minute some of them are saying that we who won't support McCain are an irrelevant one percent of the population, then the next they say we are going to elect “President Obama.” Well which one is it?
McCain is a lunatic. He's a betrayer. He's indistinguishable from Democrats on many issues. If the war is their bag, I would say people should vote for McCain. Other than that, McCain is a rattlesnake and can't be trusted. If he wins, bad for us. If he loses, bad for us.
>>>>Sorry, I’m voting for the NON-socialist candidate this time. Barr has my vote>>>
Don’t say “sorry” to us....say it to your children and grand-children.
Completely agree.
I will not cast a vote for someone based on their opponent being worse.
No need, I'll have nothing to be sorry for.
I do not for a moment buy into your BS equivalence theory.
(non vote = vote for Obama, etc.)
My vote will be FOR a candidate or none at all, end of story.
Making it easier for a MARXIST to become POTUS because you don’t like McCain can’t be in the BEST interest for your nation.
"Sorry, I tried to do my part to haul our Country back from the brink of socialist destruction, but it was a 2 Party system at the time with BOTH major parties candidates advocating varying levels of socialism".
At least I'll be able to look at the guy in the glass and not flinch. Knowing what we know about McCain, can you say the same?
You are going to have to be more specific if you want to be taken seriously.
"For 30 years Jim Woolsey has been a hawkish guardian of American national security. As director of the CIA under Bill Clinton he lived every day with the terrorist threats to his homeland."
So the best 'the bestest possible republican candidate ever' can do for a trusted advisor is a man who helped set the stage for 9/11 with his ineffectual responses to the little terrorist attacks???
*sigh*
Bring on the apologists to explain how and why this is a Smart Move.
Never mind. I already know. It's bipartisan, he's reaching across the isle, the clinton appointees weren't so bad, it will help him get the internationalist and muslim vote, it...
I'd settle for one who likes Americans.
The good news?
No alcohol allowed under sharia law...
Sorry for your misunderstanding, My vote, much like respect, is earned, not given. I don’t dislike McCain, just his policy positions.
Again, not voting for one is not a vote for the other or “making it easier”.
I agree re getting those antacids ready for the general election in November.
Seriously, though, I will have NO problem voting for McCain over the Obamination. It seems to me that we cannot just sit by, refusing to vote, and watch the “magical” one take over. Had Hillary been the Dems candidate, that would have been something else again. Obama is altogether too dangerous in so many ways to stand by and not vote.
Woolsey was the CIA director that Clinton refused to meet with. He was Director for two years and never had a one-on-one meeting with Clinton.
I told her about a company I invested in called Barrick Gold. I don't like the people who lead the company. I don't like what the company stands for. But I bought shares anyways because they were undervalued and sold it on a pop for a profit.
So she said “see, you made a decision to do something despite your pride and disgust. Voters must do the same with McCain”
Yes, it is about the war on Islam. But also the Supreme Court. And I truly believe Obama and the Congress will make Ayn Rand's vision in Atlas Shrugged a reality.
What is this. You post only articles from this other site and never reply to any of the comments on your threads. Are you being paid by Modern Conservative to advertise their site?
Day-am!
You did it! You did convince me this was a good move.
I am sure there are more of us out here.
Perhaps is should be the “Reluctant Drinking Voters With Hangover's Voting Reluctantly For McCain” ping list.
