To bring down oils prices and end America’s dependence on foreign oil, Obama wants to:
1. Increase regulation on the OIL INDUSTRY, thus INCREASING their costs of doing business.
2. Increase the TAXES on the OIL INDUSTRY, thus INCREASING the cost of the products TO THE CONSUMERS.
3. DECREASE the places that the OIL INDUSTRY can DRILL for MORE OIL, thus DECREASING the SUPPLY of OIL on the MARKET, thereby INCREASING the PRICE of the OIL on the MARKET.
4. INCREASE the FUEL MILEAGE MANDATE on the AUTO INDUSTRY, thus making automobiles SMALLER and MORE DANGEROUS, thereby KILLING MORE PEOPLE, especially CHILDREN.
Okay....got it.........sounds like a plan.................

Why are the Democrats so in favor of shutting down the American economy? Because they've become wedded to an entrenched group of radical environmentalists who see the United States as the greatest threat to the earth.
The Democrats want the United States to fall behind because they see it as the only real way to, as Barack Obama said, let the earth “heal” and “the oceans ... recede.” The only way to save the planet is to humble America, apparently.
No wonder so many radicals and terrorists like Obama. The whole party is eaten up with anti-American sentiments.<<

As far these asshats are all concerned if something is not regulated, taxed or covered by some bullcarp law, it's a "Loophole". So excuuuuuuuuuse me but take all your "loopholes" and shove them up your collective butts.
To these mopes the 10th Amendment is a "Loophole".

He's going to require the Margins be increased but it was done already by law and voluntarily by NYMEX.
He's going to require the CFTC, DOJ and FTC investigate “market manipulation” by speculators but that too is already done and no evidence has ever been found of wrong doing.
