Robert Wexler (D, Nuthouse)
The American Thinker ^ | June 21, 2008 | Clarice Feldman

I nominate Congressman Robert Wexler as the craziest man in a not very sane Congress:

Rep. Robert Wexler (D-Fla.), one of the most vocal opponents of the Bush administration on Capitol Hill, said Scott McClellan's book and testimony justify the beginning of impeachment hearings against Vice President Dick Cheney.

During questioning of McClellan, Wexler asked the former White House press secretary if he believed Bush authorized the leaking of Valerie Plame Wilson's name. When McClellan said no, Wexler said this meant that Cheney must have been the source of the leak, meaning Cheney was seeking to retaliate against the wife of an administration critic. In Wexler's view, this would be enough to support the initation of impeachment hearings against Cheney immediately.

His official biography indicates this logic impaired solon has a law degree.

It could be that the stress of dealing with a constituency which is leaving the Dem plantation rather than vote for Obama is getting to him, but he was just as loony eight years ago when he was stirring his folks up during the Palm Beach butterfly ballot fiasco.

Florida is a great state if you've made your money elsewhere. It also attracts a flotsam and jetsam of humanity that puts off alot of people.

The presence of wealthy transplants and foreigners causes real estate costs to be high (even after the recent correction) considering that salaries are low. I was lucky that when I worked in Miami, I was salary plus commission based on how much business I brought in, otherwise I would have never worked down there.

I live in Florida, I oppose drilling off of our shores. Sorry to disappoint everyone here...We can drill in Iraq or soon in Iran :)

The high gasoline prices are already hurting our tourist industry.

I’m in his damned district. I just can’t find all the mental hospitals that house all the poeple who voted for him.

You could have the tourist industry AND the oil industry but that’s OK, lots of other places want it.
Your state is not exactly easy for tourist to get to when gasoline and air fares are high so I can see why the tourist industry is slipping. You need another industry.
Florida has always appealed to retired people and you wonder why the number of school children is dwindling. I don’t think you have a very good grasp of things.

Don’t feel bad. I’m from CA and I’m looking for the looney bins that bus their patients to the polls on election day to vote for Barbara Boxer.

Have you checked the Century Village? A lot of them are hiding out in there.
