They may be swept along by a tide of enthusiasm for Obama, but they're about to run into the reality of Johnson County politics. How well they do depends on how closely they can tie their opponent to Phill Kline.

I wish Phill Kline would move out of state, but the shifty p@!# would probably keep an apartment in the state and run anyway.

I agree. It seems like Phill is the only one left with integrity in Johnson County. IF Republicans are tied to him they should do pretty good.
All the Dems have to do is ally themselves with Planned Parenthood and the corrupt lawyers picking judges and conservatives should do great.
Ok, ok, I did it just to goose you a bit. I can't help it sometimes.

Wow!
I have no dog in this fight. But my observation is; after Kline gets trounced in the primaries, who are the 'Pubs going to blame for their defeats in November?
Kline is everyone's favorite whipping boy --both sides. But he will be gone before November. The GOP is so screwed up in Kansas it isn't funny. Maybe the RINOs here will finally leave the party and come out of the closet and register as the DIMs that they truly are.
RINOs are the GOP's problem, not Kline.
