Scott McClellan appeared before the House Judiciary committee yesterday. When asked about Joseph Wilson and the defamation of Wilsons character by Sheila Jackson- Lee McClellan seemed to sympathize with the harm that had been done by the evil forces in the White House during and before his tenure as Press Secretary. Jackson-Lee asked McClellan specifically about the Uranium in Niger that Wilson reported on.
Later in his testimony Scott was confronted by Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) with some disturbing facts via a declassified CIA report. McClellan visually surprised with these facts began to backtrack.

it says that the video is not available.
McClellan is a weasel and a disloyal, lying phuckwit who sold out for only 17 pieces of silver, the dummy.
End of story.
Interesting.....video is no longer available
YouTube took it down. It is Google you know and left of Jackson-Lee.
I wonder where he will get work after this. Who would hire him?
Any way to get the transcript?
It’s a congressional hearing - there has to be a transcript somewhere...
Video worked for me. You might have a script-blocker suppressing it.
Oh, and Joseph Wilson is a liar.
Woa!! There is a massive story here, and not about McClellan... Did I hear it right? 2 hours after Wilson got back from Niger he filed a report (recently declassified) saying that Iraqis were trying to buy yellow cake? Why isn’t this story all over the place?
Wow. Never saw that happen before.
Congressional Record.
A Kingster Ping
I still get the video. Unfortunately, I can’t agree that King laid alove on him. In the 7- minute segment McClellan plugged his book three or four times.
video is back up.
Yea, we’re blessed aren’t we. Only problem is that with King as my congressman, I have no one to harass and Harkin isn’t worth the trouble.
it’s a convoluted story about something that happened in 1999. Still plenty of room to believe whatever you want to.
I don't know about the time frame, but it's already known that Wilson's report led the CIA to conclude that the Iraqis were, indeed, trying to buy yellowcake in Niger.
The 9/11 Commission's report and the concomitant Senate Intelligence Committee's report have already established this fact.
Not that any of the MSM have picked up on it...
What's not determined is whether Wilson was lying (again) when he said he uncovered no proof or was simply too obtuse to understand what the Niger minister had told him.
Either answer is conceivable.
Good question. The redacted formerly Secret report is part of the record now. The video is working fine now. I don’t see where Scotty backtracked. He foolishly blundered forward. When asked who he would stake his life on with regard to credibility of President Bush or Joe Wilson, Scotty said he would not answer such a hypothetical. His handlers should be proud.
