Obama says Republicans will use race to stoke fear

Democratic presidential contender Barack Obama said on Friday he expects Republicans to highlight the fact that he is black as part of an effort to make voters afraid of him.

In March he gave a widely praised speech on the subject after receiving criticism over racially charged comments by his longtime pastor. Obama, who faces Republican John McCain in the November election, would be the first black U.S. president.

Dear Buzz,
It's the folks that you associated with, it's religious teacher, it's what you say and how you say it. This is what scares us. We think you are Liberal Socialist in Democrat clothing and a danger to our country.

I’m sickened by this; Obama has probably set up some stealth 527 group that will be labeled a “right wing group” and start pushing out racist commentary. Obama is scum.

This will backfire. I saw a black conservative woman on CNN talking about this and she was appalled and disgusted and said that everyone will be as well.

Obama has done and continues to do more to set back the black community than anyone in history.

Remember, he told us in his “great race speech”...DO NOT JUDGE REV WRIGHT BY THE CONTENT OF HIS CHARACTER BUT BY THE COLOR OF HIS SKIN.

Turns everything upside down and backwards.

There is one racist in this campaign, and it appears to be Obama.

Just stand up there with his blonde mistress bimbette.

Totally bigoted.

Cindy McCain, 53, has spent decades and millions in helping others 0 most particularly children in need of medical care.

Just because she does it quietly and without fanfare - which is why people don't know about it - doesn't make it right to assume she's just a 'blonde mistress bimbette"

Your remark tells more about you than her.

Her focus has always been on children. She received a master's degree in special education and taught high school.

After marrying McCain and having 3 children, she started the American Voluntary Medical Team to help children in Third World countries. ... In 1991, she brought two sick babies out of Mother Teresa's orphanage in Bangladesh and adopted one of them - a baby with a severe cleft palate that made it difficult to feed her. (She is now a lovely teenager).

She now is on the boards of CARE, the HALO Trust (which dismantles land mines in war-torn areas) and Operation Smile, which sends doctors around the world to correct children's cleft palates. Last month, visiting Kosovo with HALO officials, she inspected minefields about to be cleared and met with the president and prime minister. She's been to Morocco, India and Vietnam with Operation Smile. Operation Smile officials say she's a hands-on worker who chats with families, organizes records and helps children through the screening process. "She just rolls up her sleeves and gets involved," co-founder Kathy Magee says.

Name the last First Lady who has been so involved and given so much of her time to such causes? Name the achievements of M. Obama.

Bimbette indeed,

thanks for the bio; Operation Smile is a tremendous charity. Unless he’s already received it , Dr. Magee should get the medal of freedom from Bush, like Ben Carson did the other day.

Bigoted? Are you even in full command of the English language? Shall I loan you my dictionary?

First of all, I don’t care how many charities this whore is involved in, she was the mistress to a married man. Period.

That’s all I need to know about her.

Can not stand Obama and his campaign crew. Projection is practiced continually and it is annoying. With the MSM behind him I just wonder if McCain and his crew can counter effectively.

So, if Obama is to be "heralded" as the first "officially black" Black President, then bringing up his blackness, amounts to?

rofl!

'got my own dictionary, thank you.

bigoted

adjective

blindly and obstinately attached to some creed or opinion and intolerant toward others; "a bigoted person"; "an outrageously bigoted point of view"

Sounds like a fit to me. (I do try to be careful. As a professional writer, words are my tools of trade.)

Ahhh, see that “blindly” part is where you are mistaken.

I am completely informed as to my opinion on her, therefore I am not bigoted. I am opinionated. See the difference? I have full reason to believe her to be of a nasty sort, because of her ACTIONS. By the way, I feel the same about her husband. So it’s not even the female part that bothers me. It does bother me that on this site, Clinton is made out to be Satan for being a cheating bastard, but this adulterous whore is to represent MY party as the First Lady of the United States of America? I dont’ think so, and I don’t have to like it. And that DOES NOT make me a bigot. And I don’t have to like John McCain for the same reason I dislike Clinton. Well, there are alot reasons I dislike Clinton, but that is one of them.

And I like your screen name. I love his novels.

"It has been rare for him to bring up the topic during his presidential bid."

Photobucket

When he first threw his hat into the ring, BHO was asked by a reporter,"Do you think people will vote against you because of your policies?" To which he answered, "Yes...Republicans.

The reporter followed up, "Do you think there are people who would vote against you because of your race?" To which he answered, "Yes...those same people."

This was on the VERY FIRST DAY of his campaign! For BHO, IT IS ALWAYS ABOUT RACE!!!!!!!
