Those receiving the money don’t think they’re outdated.
Reminds me of an old Jewish story. The rabbi was deep in prayer. Afterwards, a congregant asked what he was praying for.
Rabbi: I prayed that the rich would be generous in giving charity to the poor.
Congregant: Do you feel God heard your prayer?
Rabbi: At least half-way. The poor have agreed to accept.
what do mean? I’m sure they complain the payments haven’t kept up with the cost of living.
