Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen for today’s activities. I wasreading that story about the sick Afghan boy and, Yeah, I know they are different than us, but all I could think when I read what the boy's father said (“We don’t understand Americans,” Ahmad said before departing. “We have yet to understand how compassionate Americans are -- how they want to help the Afghan people.) was DUH! We've been in their country protecting them for how many years now? Well, I say thank God that we've convinced one more person over there.

Sad news for Jaweed. I pray for peace of spirit and mercy for him.
