It ain’t a cathode ray tube, anymore! Besides, they began shield CRT monitors after the 1980s air traffic controllers’ strike.

They are proving each day; it can.

Just wrap me up in a strong EM field, with a GPS, an RFID and a Blackberry wired into my head, playing CNN soundbites in between phone calls - going through the drive-thru at McDonald’s .....

That’s what I call LIVING!

Nah, they want us in hybrids so when we’ve finally had enough we can’t drive fast enough to catch the very rich off environmental ripoffs bad guys who are driving much, much fancier and much much faster cars.

Of course, we will be lucky enough to see hybrids since we will be living in a stone age third world country.

This is really shocking, but I am sure that people will get a charge out of it. Some might find it revolting, but it is a lesson in current events. It may try people’s capacitance for inductance into the Punning Hall of Fame.

Engine crews ... I'll bet they're all sick.

Sick enough that they can't even drive the damned things without having to have rails to steer it for them!

Every kid who ever built an “electromagnet” for the science fair can explain it to you. Maybe you should ask one, if you don’t believe me.

You mean that 6V lantern battery I used way back when wasn't an AC battery? That why they called a B-cell?

Maybe I should have used an A-cell and a C-cell in series-parrallel to get the A-C current he says I needed for the electromagnet?

Maybe he better not ask me about electrisicals, since it do seem I are con-fuse, rather than pro-fuse. All I ever do is breaker things when I play with them.

I guess these morons don’t realize that every car has an alternator (generator) generating a significant electromagnetic field greater than any of these batteries - thus not only charging the battery but also running all the electrical devices on the car as well.

Also the distributor (dynometer) actually generates very high DC current (and the associated electromagnetic field) to cause an arc across the spark plugs, thus igniting the fuel/air mix to cause combustion, thus making the engine work.

I doubt that a hybrid generates significantly higher electromagnetic current than any other car.

These people need to get a life.

Far too many in politics rise on half-baked theories, and if you know on which side your bread is buttered, boy do they know how to spread it on thick...
