BO had a passport when he traveled outside of the US before he became a Senator so at one time in his life he had to produce a real birth certificate. Therefore he IS a US citizen. Whether is middle name his Mo or not is another story.
“BO”
*snort*
I like that nickname. BO for president.
Yes, I am still in the fourth grade.
What do you mean? You can’t get a passport if you don’t have a birth certificate that is American? His father obviously had a passport and wasn’t American. Am I confused?
But what exactly is the issue here? Where he was born?
How old was he when his mother took him to Kenya to be the 2nd wifey of her moozy boyfriend? And I bet her parents were proud.
I better shut up, I have three daughters and the odds of one of them doing something that stupid is high, especially given their DNA of their father. Oh wait, for that matter, my mother could say the same for me since I had babies with this man. I think I should just shut up now.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is a US citizen. But Arnold will never be president (born in Austria).
Part of the interest derives from the possibility that Obama was actually born in Kenya. On other threads, people have discussed the precise wording of the law. My understanding is that if he were born in Kenya, he would not be eligle for our highest office.
Of course, other areas of interest are: Does his birth certificate list his religion as Muslim? Older birth certificates often list religion. This would not invalidate him in any way -- but it would be embarassing.
Another point (as you indicate) is that his full name might include "Mohammad". Again, this does not invalidate him -- but it would be embarassing.
I wish I were in the popcorn business.
