Gas Price Reduction Survey
If all the Republicans would pound on the Dems with the energy issue, I believe there may be a lot of Dem butts thrown to the curb in November.

A mighty big “IF” ... considering how many testicular and spine implants that would be required.

(Sorry, wish I could get my link pasting to work. I must be doing something wrong.)
You forget: All Bush's Fault? Works on internet forums, will work on tv as well.

Agreed. Plus we have terrible attention spans in this country. If the Saudi's increase output and prices ease...well, then... what else is on television?
Ain’t that the unfortunate truth!
Signed it yesterday. Thanks for sticking the link back up for others.
Every one needs to call their congress persons and remind them as well... we stopped the amnesty, we can get them to change their mind on drilling as well..
Comment:
Excellent observation and could happen if Republican leaders grow some small cajoles.

Most politicians are from the same mold. The only difference between the average R and average D is the group to which they attempt to pander. Most R politicians get confused because they listen to the MSM and believe that represents the majority position on issues.
So, don’t expect the R’s to do anything sane or coherent. They’re just listening to the polls and MSM trying to figure out what they believe.
Disgusting that this great nation could be ran in such a manner.
There is a lot more to the sudden runup in gas prices than the actual supply. There is the issue of the 2007 creation of supersized instruments for purchasing oil futures. See an interesting discussion of this issue at: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2020588/posts
Jim Inhoffe is my Senator and I received this survey in my e-mail. He’s been on the forefront of this issue for a long time. I checked off every one of the boxes and would have liked to have seen a box for additional comments. We need to add coal to the mix as well.
We Okies are very fortunate to have some very fine representatives. Even David Boren is more conservative than John McCain. Wish Senator Inhofe could make onto the Veep list then I wouldn’t feel better when I vote for McCain this November.
By the way...diesel in Georgetown, Exuma, Bahamas is $5.91/gal. Glad we have a sailboat...everyone knows ‘sailing is FRee’ :-)
Cheers
I called Pelosi and Reid. My reps are republicans
Paid $4.40/gal for gasoline yesterday on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, 5 miles from the Chevron refinery!
Done!!
Here is the "survey":
After submitting your survey, you will have the opportunity to learn more about Senator Inhofe's leadership on each method you choose below.
Increase America's refining capacity
Increase domestic oil and natural gas production, including drilling in ANWR and select offshore locations
And here are the methods I support for reducing the burden of high energy prices...
Invest in the development of effective and affordable alternative energy sources, like cellulosic biofuels, geothermal energy and wind power
Invest in nuclear energy
Note that the underlined option is gratuitous pandering to the politically correct view of the energy crisis; and irrelevant!
That option is the ONLY one of the choices that is already not only being done, but overdone, with serious negative unintended consequences!
What can be done (that isn't being done) that can actually have a positive effect in solving the crisis?
