It was VERY easy to get through. The phone line
wasn’t busy. I waited through one station break
and then I was the second caller. The screener
didn’t. He just asked my name.

I don't think he was "plugging" Ron Paul.....he said he agreeed with him on the one issue he was discussing.
Mark is holding my attention today for a change as he's bringing up loads of very topical issues I'm interested in. I generally can't stand most of Rush's stand-ins probably because there's only one Rush and I set impossibly-high standards.

I’m fed up with the RNC, but I’m going to continue to bug the heck out of them this election cycle. *LOL* I’m hoping the squeaky wheel philosophy still applies and I can get them to shoot some help to some of the underfunded, but GREAT conservatives running for office. I’m not holding my breath, but I am crossing my fingers.

I was half-listening for a while there.... when I called I was listening to the show on my Walkman radio since I was with my son outside as he was riding his bicycle....

JO: When the 'Rats say that we won't get oil from ANWR for ten years, what they mean is that their enviro-wacko, Commie-Luddite pals will do their damndest to hold up the project in the courts for 10 years.
THAT is the important fact that goes unremarked: It wouldn't take us ten years to build the infrastructure and get the oil flowing, 8.5 of those ten years is cutting through government red tape and Sierra Club lawsuits.
