I think the democrats are angry with the oil companies because the oil companies made a pre-emptive spike in retail prices to get the jump on the "global warming fuel tax" that they see coming. Now the guvment cant spike fuel with a "save the earth tax" for quite a while because the retail price is maxxed out

I really think this is nothing more than election year rhetoric. Once they realizize that they will irritate one of their biggest supporters (i.e. unions), I think they'll reconsider. Believe me, they'd much rather negotiate with the private sector, than an as a government employee.

I’d be delighted if they were impeached. But that would probably have to come from their colleages, and there are too many “reach across the aisle” RINOs. 1789, mass marches with torches, pitchforks, tar and feathers would get the job done faster.
