Even without a conviction, this would typically be trumpeted as another example of “culture of corruption” if it were a Repub being investigated.

When will our guys fight back? They shouldn’t let the Dems get away with their smear tactics. Too many voters are left with the idea that it’s only the Repubs who are bad and evil. It’s a formula for losing elections.

The Dems are way much better at demonizing opponents. They define the argument unopposed. So sad.
