Los Angeles did quite well with Tom Bradley, I think.
The mayor of Atlanta, Shirley Franklin, is doing a crowd-pleasing job there, overhauling aging infrastructure. She has balanced the budget for 8 years, and during a budget crunch she cut her own staff and salary. The city is clean and beautiful.
