Goldy Gopher has gone sexy on us.
Next month, the University of Minnesota mascot will appear in Victoria's Secret stores, adorning hoodies, T-shirts (pictured) and panties (not pictured) in the chain's Pink collection of lounge wear for young women.
The lingerie chain, which has been trying to broaden its appeal as it struggles with declining sales, will carry merchandise from 33 universities as part of a licensing deal announced this week.

Victoria’s Secret “Uff Da” collection.
I read the article. Where’s the problem?
LOL! Oh, no problems at all.
Just seeing what the FR world has to say about this - serious comments and not-so serious comments.
I envision that the Aggie “thumbs up” Gig-’em sign would NOT look pretty on a pair of panties....
what... were they hoping to pull out a plum?
So does this mean that if you attend the University of Texas and you find your date is wearing Texas A&M underwear you have to call off the evening’s activities or do you just have a battle of the hand signals before getting down to business?
If that's the case then the evening's activities probably involve noodling for catfish ... so, yeah, call them off.
Where’s da pics?
Victoria’s Secret is not Fredrick’s of Hollywood. They sell normal panties and bras and nightgowns and pajamas. I buy some of their stuff. It is comfy. I think a lot of FReepers image of VS is thongs.
Victoria’s Secret deserves its declining sales-their clothes are ugly. I remember the first catalogues of theirs I saw as a child in the 1980s : Gorgeous, feminine, Victorian-inspired lingerie (that’s where they got their name, though it hasn’t been appropriate for years now) and lovely flowing negligees, peignoirs...I couldn’t wait till I was old enough to buy such things. Then when I was, their targeted customer base had changed, so their clothes might best be described now as boxy, sporty, and cutesy . I have never purchased from them and will not (unless I can get a time machine trip back to 1983 and purchase their old-style garments) but I get their catalogue constantly-I’ve never been impressed.

I agree though lace on hemlines itches me.
Obligatory “useless without pics” post...
I wonder if Oregon State is one of those 33 universities?
Yes, but their deal is for livestock blankets.
Yes, I am aware of that. Thank you mentioning the obvious...
LOL!
