If the majority of Republican elected officials weren’t statists then their Christianity would have little if anything to do with their politics. The gay marriage issue, for example, wouldn’t be an issue if Republicans addressed it from the proper perspective i.e. does the government have any justification issuing licenses for marriage.

"Crist knowingly and deliberately violated the rules and bylaws of both the RNC and the DNC by holding Florida's presidential primary prior to February 5th, 2008. He is guilty of stealing votes from the citizens of Florida and needs to be held accountable, not rewarded."

This is not a reason to not support Christ for a possible VP. There ar other reasons why he should be denied the position. As far as I can see he is just like so many of the rest of them ... a politician. For me his lack of character and his purely political nature should disqualify him.

The problem is and lies with the RNC and DNC and the power hungry politicians in charge. The RNC and DNC should not dictate to State government when they can do anything. It is a function, defined in State law, of the individual State legislatures to set election dates. The RNC and DNC have no business attempting to setting statute or interfere in the running of State government. That is why the citizens elect representatives, they don't want unelected persons telling them what to do.

We see the unelected dictating enough with SCOTUS ... do we really want the RNC and DNC to be the same? I think not. Their only function should be to hold their party conventions every 4 years.

This unknown blogger lives in Michigan and suffered the loss of his vote, as did all Michiganders and Floridians at the hands of their Legislators and Governors. The motive is simple: NO ONE, not even the governor, has the right to defraud citizens of their right to vote and for that vote to count 100% at their respective convention. This is an issue of election fraud which should have all Americans concerned about their future votes.
