I’ve always thought bumper stickers are nothing more than magnets for vandalisim.

It takes a bit of inner strength to NOT vandalize some of the ultra-liberal cars.

Liberals are angry, in-your-face, confrontational and don’t respect other peoples’ points of view. Conservatives don’t need to plaster their opinions all over their cars. Conservatives know who they are and are happy.

I'm convinced that ALL Subaru Outbacks (and Foresters) come with a mandatory KERRY/EDWARDS04 bumper sticker attached...

My favorites is when you see that sticker on a 2005 or newer car. LOL.

Enemedia conditioning! I think we would all be amazed at how the majority really does agree with us.

True, I was in Maryland, after all :)

That guy called into Rush recently.

I found it hilarious that he asserted that Stephen King killed John Lennon because Lennon was the only person that could have stopped the Iraq war from happening.

"The more markers a car has, the more aggressively the person tends to drive when provoked," he said.

That's good to know. Now I know who to play with on those long boring 600 mile drives. :-)

I used to have a bumper stick that read “Buy a gun. Piss off a liberal.”

I don’t want the cops to have any special reason to look at me.

Although I don't routinely "wear" bumper stickers, in 1996, I had a Dole-Kemp sticker on my car. Soon after that, while traveling to visit my soon-to-be in-laws in northern Indiana: Dan Quayle country. In fact, I was on the Dan Quayle highway (SR24), when I was pulled over for speeding.

The officer asked my "if I knew why I was pulled over?" I told them I knew I was speeding, and I told them a sob story about how I was late to meet my girlfriend's parents. They verified I had not received any previous tickets. When the nice officer returned my ID & insurance, he said, "I appreciate your honesty...and the fact you're displaying that bumper sticker doesn't hurt, either!"

I thanked him and went on my way.

That's just the kind of BS I'm talking about. So if you're political affiliation is to a cop's liking, you get a break? They really think a lot of themselves.

I think my favorite bumper sticker displayed a message to tailgaters.....

“The closer you get, the slower I go.”

I drive an Outback because it’s a great car. People assume I’m a lib when they see it and freely express their lefty viewpoints. I always shock them when they figure out my stance is wholly conservative.

I used some
s for line breaks (within

sections) and the almighty (to represent a single space). Oh, and remember to use & for ampersands.
