I can’t stand Biden. But Lieberman is the Democrat version of McCain. We can set our thermostats at 85 and pay carbon credits for breathing.

No doubt Obama would like a plagiarist like himself.

What the only thing worse the 2 Senators running for President?

4 Senators running.

Will this insane year never end?

God save the Republic!

He's not going to pick Lieberman.

if he could get away with it. The political consensus is that McCain couldn't get away with either, and he knows it

Well, one thing is for sure, both parties are pathetic in their choices of nominees. I wouldn’t rule out Mickey Mouse or Pee Wee Herman on either ticket. The Great OZ has spoken.

When Biden was in the race, he made the point that he was more electable than Hillary or Barry. I believed that, but he did not have enough star power for the Democrat primary crowd. Barry could do worse than Biden. Biden could help him with Hillary voters, Edwards cannot help him much with those voters.

Karl Rove listed Biden as the leader in the four he thought were the leading potential nominees.

Rove gave Romney the lead on the McCain side.

McCain is not going to pick Lieberman. He’s just trying to ride Lieberman’s coattails. It’s much like the fact that he’s permitted rumors that he might consider Romney. Why piss off their supporters? Let them think their man is in the running. It’s good politics.

MeCain may, as always, be thinking only of himself and calculate that he can beat Obama by replacing Conservative votes with Hillary votes.

Another theory was Hillary was bidding for a Supreme Court Nomination for her support of Obama.

One thing for sure, "That Woman" is not going away quietly!

I didn’t want Lieberman to be vice president in 2000 and nothing has happened to change that opinion.

No way in heck does McCain-Lieberman get my vote.

If Lieberman is the Republican VP, does that mean he would still vote for Harry Reid to organize the Senate?

The Senate would be 50/50, with Cheney breaking ties, without Lieberman.

I don’t think he’ll really pick Lieberman. I really don’t. But, I sure hope I’m not wrong. I have some respect for Lieberman but I simply won’t be able to hold my nose enough to vote for McCain if he picks a pro-abortion running mate. Everyone draws their line somewhere and that’s mine. He’s an old and unwell man and his VP needs to be someone I could live with.

For all those people that will do anything to keep Obama out of the White House there is one thing McCain should do to guarantee a win and all you McCain supporters should encourage it. And that is pick Hillary for his running mate.

It is a no brainer. McCain/Clinton win in a landslide.

I got my money on Crist from Florida. If McCain wants Lieberman, he can make him SecDef.
