The rumor was apparently started by Clinton supporter Larry Johnson saying that there was a tape and then on Fox News Dem “strategist” Bob Beckel mentions that something big was about to drop. Two weeks later Rush talks about hearing the rumor.
The Dems then cut and past Rush’s words to make it sound like he started the rumor.
Allow me to award the Joseph Goebbels award for outstanding journalism for this one.
