the Bush administration is giving oil companies permission to annoy and potentially harm them in the pursuit of oil and natural gas.

So, do you want to drive your car to work or walk?

It is ultimately far more serious than your asserted choices. Fuel is what makes food produceable, so inexpensive, and shippable to those in desperate need. As the price of oil rises, the fertilizer market suffers price increases of astronomical proportions and the abundance of food shrinks, so people will starve and the democraps don’t guve a hoot in hell that they are responsible for the starvation ...

Just a little closer, driver, but I'll leave your hat and glasses for folks to find.

” Exactly how does an oil company harass a polar bear? Do they call it names and follow it around? “

I think they mostly require the bear to file triplicate Environmental Impact Studies every quarter on the impact of its viciously and cruelly woofing down innocent seal pups with very cute eyes. And taking pictures of them mating.

I want a nice little cartoon of Teddy as Don Quixote, tilting at the wind generators in a tin hat.

You used to be able to hunt them.

I know a guy that has a stuffed one standing in his den.

That 10’ high critter is a real conversation piece.

” The polar bears have increased in number by 5 fold since 1972.

The ecofreaks just want to shut down oil drilling and exploration and they’re telling lies about the polar bear in order to do so. “

Sounds like time for a biofuel solution to me. Polar bears have a LOT of fat, right? How many miles to the pound do you think I’ll get if I rig up my minivan to run on PolarPower? It’s probably more plentiful than used Freedom Fry oil, and think of all the cute cuddly innocent seal cubs we’ll be saving.

I thought it was satire too.

Amazing what passes for AP “news reporting.”

Just train one, harness it to your minivan and you will get a lot more miles out of him.

Train him to go seal hunting when you are through (driving) for the day and your cost/mile is 0!

Like oil companies want to go out of their way to harrass polar bears? Sometimes I wonder how liberals feed themselves if they’re that stupid. Oh, I forgot, that’s the role of the Federal government.

Scripture is quite clear about that.

Everything hidden will be revealed—personal, corporate, political.

Every idle word; every thought will become known.

I’m firmly convinced . . . that in the life review with God . . . every person not only reviews all their actions and choices but every THOUGHT

AND

ALL the results of all those thoughts, words and actions on everyone else

AND all the other people’s thoughts and feelings and actions in response to your thoughts, words, feelings, actions.

All the evil doers will particularly have their evils paraded before all creation.

Believers will have their sins covered by the Blood of Jesus on their confession, repentance, choosing Christ as their Savior. But they will still, imho, experience every nuance of every detail of all their choices and the thoughts and feelings of the other persons in all their doings responding to the believer.

In any case . . . before we each reach our eternal destiny, all will become known.

Perhaps when the Anti-Christ becomes overtly obvious, folks who can still think clearly, may begin to put pieces together.

But many luke-warm Christians will likely fall by the side because they will be duped, will believe him as he “makes war with peace” as Scripture says.

My perspective, anyway.

Any other questions?

Your perspective?

Who are these people tampering with the cost of oil? Who decides the price of gasoline at the gas pump?

Lindsey Williams says they are

...

A chain of people. Manufacturer, wholesaler, middleman, retailer ...

His example:

Saudi Arabia, to bring a barrel of crude oil out of the ground there, costs five dollars.

Oil producing country. Then there’s the in between person.

Who is this in between person?

Who are they? They tell OPEC what they will give them for a barrel of oil. They are making exorbitant profits. They sit behind the computers in New York and London.

The IMF and the world bank.

Thirdly, there’s the oil company.

They’ve never made profits like they’re making now.

Then the gas station owner who barely makes any.

Interesting.

Okay, I'll admit that it isn't something you see every day on your way home from school.

Maybe if we stop "annoying" polar bears, their population will increase so much that we can each have one and ride them to work, like horses. They're faster than the average bear. Once we domesticate them, you'll see. Give 'em a little seal meat, and they're happy. We can replace gas stations with seal farms.

"Your perspective?"

I think you've covered the main points. Follow the money. Looks like the IMF/world bank is getting the lion's share. Should be an easy way to eliminate the middle man here. Do that and the pump price should fall back to 1.50 per gallon and stay there, from what I understand.

The middle man in this case is performing no vital service in the production of gas and should be eliminated.

Is it really that easy? Probably so.
