To: Alice in Wonderland

Awe, Man! Don’t let my Dad see those. He’s already obsessed with those “ceramic” room heaters. He runs those for 10 months of the year to keep his apartment “slightly below broiling.” I have to wear shorts and a tank top to visit him in the middle of February!

So if he discovers these A/C units, I’ll need to wear a Parka in August, LOL!

I’d like to get a portable A/C to use when there are power outages. Just hook it up to a generator and stick the vent out a window and you’re good-to-go when the central A/C isn’t available. Then put it away when the electricity returns.

I feel your pain. I spent a week or so with my elderly parents a few months ago. I was there to help take care of them for a while. I thought I would have a heat stroke.

They have central air and heat but thier comfort zone is quite different from mine.
