I've been thinking about this alot lately. I'm 50, and I'm so blessed in my life that I've gotten down on myself for being upset about news events I have absolutely no conrol over. So you know what I did two weeks ago? I turned off my TV. I get my news, when I want it and decide what I read, from FreeRepublic.
I decided that life is just too short to be pissed off all the time.
I've been doing that for years. I'm STILL way more informed about news events and politics than most folks I know. They might listen to the news, but that's all they ever hear or know about an event. They don't know any of the story behind the blurb on TV.
But you're right, life's WAY too short to be continually pi$$ed off about politics.
