He was born in the State of Hawaii.
His middle name is ‘Hussein’, not ‘Mohammed.’
Amen to that.
Don’t Admin Moderators have to be natural born citiizens of ‘Red’ states?
I find it very strange that the certificate number is blacked out. In my opinion, there is only one reasonable explanation. Because then someone could verify ALL of the information on the document with the Department of Vital Statistics via a Verification Letter. They won't give out info you don't know, but they will verify info you do know, such as “Does certificate #12345 contain the name “XXXX?”.
Also, I verified with the dept that a certified copy has a signature stamp and a raised/embossed seal on it. They are put on the back. The seal is supposed to be deep enough to be quite visible from the front.
I recall the Dan Rather saga. Had that not been pursued it would have been accepted as fact.
I am disappointed with this ruling and fear what may be verboten next, but you make the rules and I will abide by them.
That’s what I was wondering about. Even when stamped on the back, the imprint, however illegible it would be, should show up in the scan, shouldn’t it?
Strike that last question. I just looked at another thread put up the other day, which includes a HUGE copy of the certificate. When you look closely right above the purple date mark you can see where the paper shows irregularities in keeping with a seal.
ALSO:
Apparently, the Wall Street Journal has a copy of his birth certificate per a different post on that thread. That is a much different case than some guy posting something on Daily Kos, isn’t it? I JUST ran across this a few minutes ago.
I guess all my questions have been answered, so I personally will put this issue to rest. Would’ve been nice to knock these questions out sooner though. It is perhaps a little troubling that we were asked not to discuss it, but didn’t have all the facts as to why...
It’s just sad that no matter what you do you’re still going to be labeled as far right lunatics that attack the Messiah with lies.
Don’t forget: you all are racists. Anytime you say anything negative about Barry you show your hidden racism. You were racist for being upset over Rev. Wright. You were racist for being upset over Michelle’s comments. You were racist for being offended by Barry’s “bitter” comments.
You are also racist for questioning his patriotism. It was racist to be alarmed over his snub of our flag and those that wear them on their suits. It was racist to get upset over his declaration that he would meet face to face with the worst dictators in the world with no preconditions in the first year of his presidency.
You showed your racism when you couldn’t accept black liberation theology as the predominant religion of black Americans. Your racism was on display when you got upset over his promise to dismantle our nuclear weapons program, as well as, other vital military programs.
Your racism spews on this site daily. The never ending racism can’t be wiped away by this thread asking for civility concerning his birth certificate. It’s too late. /s
Was a similar thread posted regarding the controversy over McCain’s eligibility? Did the AMs ask us to refrain from comment on that as well?
McCain’s eligibility is fuzzy because he was not on US soil when he took his first breath. Obama’s eligibility is clear. He was on US soil.
meds didn’t work, stil awake
so big question in your dreams, do they wear their burka?
Sorry, but only an idiot, or someone really ignorant would question McCain's eligibility. So RWI's point is valid.
very good idea about the drivers licenses..........

In 1996, Bob Dole, who increasingly looks like a statesman, said that the American people don’t like to engage in “personal differences”. He did not and LOST!
And the way moderates think, John McPain is so sensitive about false charges of “racism” that he may ask his supporters to vote for Oprah’s Obama to prove that they are not “racist”.
You believe everything you read on the Daily Kos?
I guess I don’t understand the argument. What difference does it make where BHO was born? His mother was a U.S. Citizen.
Obama’s character is a BIG issue! But ours as voters shouldn’t be, and it becomes so when we attack Obama on pointless issues. There’s so many reasons why this man shouldn’t be president that we don’t have to act like children while making our arguments.
I thought where he was born was an issue if not proven. Now that it apparently is, it’s time to move on to substantive issues. Of which there are numerous. Just pick.
