conservatives are chicken and don’t have the stomach for such action. They will not get out of their ruts to save their own butts

They will whine and bitch and moan till hell freezes over, but they will not act

There are very few things that happen in Europe that I would hold up as something worth comment but I will say that they do a bangup job of ginning up protests against the high cost of fuel. The Spanish truck drivers pretty much closed the border with France and brought the delivery of food to a virtual standstill. It sure as h*ll got the attention of the Spanish government.

It just might work here. I say give it a try.

How about this along with your idea?

July 4th is a national holiday. All federal offices are closed.

On Monday the seventh when they show up they find their place of employment surrounded by people bearing pitchforks, baseball bats and shotguns telling them they are fired!

Not enough of us can go to Washington, but we can all go to our nearest federal office building or courthouse. Millions more could participate locally who do not have the means to get to DC.

It might get a few of us killed but it will certainly get our point across.

I pledge my pitchfork and my life to the constitution as written.

Been done before, IIRC. Tractors and farmers!

I’d love to but, that’s a long drive from Texas.

On our way there, pick one or two gas brands to boycott. Those stations will eventually have to lower it’s price and cause a gas war.

Add guns, pitchforks, and flaming torches and you can include me in.

I love the idea. Print up a flyer to post on gas pumps. That should get some notice. Also have folks bring a gas can. Then set up a time to meet at the capitol steps. Keep it nonviolent, but loud. Intimidate the congress critters. Also get some intel on other exit points through the tunnels. Make sure that they can't leave without seeing angry, but peaceful people everywhere they go. Stake out all garage exits.

Give me a date and I'll be there. And I can't afford the $300 dollars in gas either.
