WASHINGTON - Record high prices for gasoline probably won't drop before the November election, Republican John McCain said Wednesday.

Just wow! Ia m am getting a tingle up my leg on this.
Viva Juan.
The Pres doesn't have to have any solutions to anything and sounding like they do is a modern innovation to campaigning. Besides that, the Pres can't do much about anything and has to follow Congress on everything, or veto their Beers. Anybody with a solution to everything like O'Bama should be viewed with suspicion right away.
Then you don’t wanna see this thread. The mug collectors are all hanging out trying to avoid threads like this.

McCain is totally and completely out of touch.
I find it odd that liberals (including McCain) think that we can’t drill our way out of this problem but we can tax our way out of it.
I love Rush, but he along with Hannity have been cheerleaders for the present economy and I suppose he will be when unemployment rate rises to 15%. He refuses to recognize the total mishandling of the economy by Bush’s Fed appointees, his Treasury appointees, his Housing Secretary appointee and Bush’s encouragement of excessive Federal Spending. Bush had no understanding that the constant reductions in credit standards presided over by his administration would turn this economy upside down.
Yeah, McCain scores a knock out with this one. He must have inside information that Congress isn’t going to allow drilling in ANWR, our coastal waters or building refineries for shale oil. John is right in the thick of things with his fellow Democrats on this one.
“It was the strawberries where I had them”.

McCain is Democrat Light.
Obama said the same at a campaign stop in Marion, Indiana, as a friend of mine tells me.
McLunatic and his Rat buddies are to blame. What else can he say. What a dope.
Didn’t Obama just tell Oregon that we need to start building more bike lanes.
Check the script... he ALSO said it could be temporary and go back up. It will come down one day... unless you do not believe in Supply and Demand.... If that is true... it will still go down one day... but you will not see it coming.

My guess is McCain has the same opinion. Pathetic.
Hey John McCain....Lets bump the price to 8 bucks for a stinking gallon of gas....That’ll push a gallon of milk up to 6 bucks a gallon, and a T-bone to $12.95...With meat $47.95
“He should instead bypass his “friends” in the Democrat party, and drill Alaska, the Gulf and elsewhere.
He should be pushing the benefits and safety of Nuclear Power as demonstrated in Germany and France,”
...........
agreed
The man's wife is worth like 100 *million* bucks.
This guy lost touch with working class America long ago.
$4.30 a gallon, regular, Long Island NY.
McCain, the moron, still refuses to drill in Alaska.
Seems to be a pattern here.
We had a good 140 year run. We had Abe Linoln and Ron Reagan. Not a bad run. Sad to see it end this way with such a bird brain running it.
Our political and economic landscape has been corrupted and is in total chaos. Insiders and the government elite are in total control, and no one believes a word they say.
