I have never run for office at any level. Maybe someone who has run for a federal office can tell us what documents they had to provide when filing to run for election.

It won't matter. They'll say that his intent was good, that it wasn't his fault that his family lied to him about his birth records and parents' marital status, he meant well, he didn't know, so it's okay with them if he runs.
