“Wait a second, which is it? Are the high oil prices because of futures speculation, or are they due to all those dirty foreigners out there aren't selling us enough of their oil? Which is it, since you've basically made two contradictory arguments.”

Yes one thing does not effect the Oil prices. Nevertheless, don't tell me that speculators have no influence over the market. Do you remember what happened to our economy in 1870 or how about 1929? Guess what caused it?

“What exactly do you think we should do about this?”

Well we spent close to half a Trillion dollars in Iraq. While our troops pay more for gas to fill up our Jeeps and Tanks, etc... The Iraq people enjoy a low price. How about we tell Iraq, since we are spending so freaking much fixing up that $hit hole, they can pay us back with some of their Oil. I am not saying all of it, but maybe 10% for now, and of course that can always be adjusted. There are a lot of solutions. The problem is the Republican party along with the Democrats are completely corrupt. This is why our country is going from a Super Power to a second world nation.

So, if we boil your argument down to its bare essence, what you're saying is that you think the Iraq war was about oil?

With all due respect, Sprite, your points sound less "conservative" and more populist. William Jennings Bryant would be proud.

Aid to "the werkin' man?" No thanks. How about "conservatives are against aid to African dictators and want the fatsos in THIS country to get off their asses and stop whining."

You hate "free trade?" There is a candidate for you, and his name is Obama.

FYI: My apologies. I now see that this was written by the populist asshat friend of Chuck Schumer, Michael Weiner.

No I do not hate free trade. I just want everyone to play by the same rules. For instance, you probably think its a bad idea four our country to allow the FDA to require that farmers do not Crap and piss on our food? You know kind of like the tomatoes? What about the toys coming from China. I guess you think its ok to had lead in them?

Hell why were add it why don't we just outsource our entire Military to the Chinese. They will work for a bag of rice a day which which will be a lot cheaper than the current troops that require pay and benefits. LOL!

You need to quit drinking the Free Trade Kool-Aid and realize there is no such think. Its only true free trade if everyone is playing by the same rules. Which it will never be. The difference between you and me is that I am loyal to the USA. You are only loyal to the dollar. There are globalist like you that would sell out their own mothers if it gives them an extra dollar.

Michael WHINE-ER reminds me of these old guys you run into in gym locker rooms, hotel bars, etc. who have become bitter about life and want to share their bitterness with you (misery loves company). In Weiner's case, he had a successful career selling nutritional supplements, and now brings in more dinero by commiserating with the bitter and the angry.

I wonder how Weiner feels now that his friend Chuck Schumer is bought and paid for by Sheik Makhtoum.

No I am glad we went in, but don’t you think Iraq should pay a little bit for us liberating them? If not, then I guess you believe that the US tax payer should just suck it up.

Energy is a National Security issue. We could have Iraq pay for their liberation with Oil. Yes have them pay us in barrels of Oil for the war of liberation over there.

I've been to Dubai. I have Jewish colleagues that have been to Dubai. Dubai Ports World is largely run by expatriate Brits, and Sheik Makhtoum is not an Islamonazi.

Of course, you would take Schumer's bait, to say nothing of an IQ of 70 RINO like Pete King.

Dubai does not recognize the state of Israel, nor do they have official relations. My Jewish colleagues were both American citizens, and had no problem while visiting the country (nor were we harassed while drinking scotch at the hotel bar).

Instead of bashing Dubai, why not praise it for its relative openness and prosperity, and as a beacon for capitalism in the Muslim world? I guess you wish that all muslims cities be like Riyadh so that it confirms your prejudices.

Conservatives are for compelling foreign oil producers to increase production and reduce prices, by force if necessary.

No. Conservatives want US to produce our own damn oil!

OK now lets play connect the dots... Why do you think they not recognize Israel?

I refuse to praise a country that has an open antisemitic policy. That is like praising the Chinese. Yeah their capitalist to. Have you seen the way they treat their citizens? Oh but that is OK since they are capitalist...

Okay. But that's not what you said.

You said we should "compell" them to produce oil for us and "force" them to give it to us.

That's not the way conservatives do business.

Savage sounds like a moonbat.

He says Bush is the worst CIC in history.

The Iraq war the worst blunder in history.

Bush invaded Iraq to benefit Haliburton and his oil buddies.

He trashed General Petreous and declared the Surge dead on arrival.

He bashes Limbaugh, Hannity and Ann Coulter.

All classic liberal talking points out of the moonbat play book
