I hate how the media treats JFK (and RFK to some extent) as some sort of living god. They worship the guy in a way that I find really unsettling.
Obama is getting the same treatment. This morning on NPR they were talking about "The Dawning of the Obama Era". Jeez! The guy's not elected! There is no "era"!
But the media picks these flawed individuals, puts them on a pedestal and demands that we all bow down before their sacred memory. Makes me sick.
