As far as ideas - you’re right, and I’m still thinking... I’m really not sure how I(we) would be able to ferret out those who are sending the letters. Not sure how in the world those running the adopt-a-soldier program would be able to tell who was going to be supportive and who wouldn’t before the letter actually reaches someone reading it.
Mockery probably won’t work with this guy - I’m sure he’s heard it all before. Public Humiliation for his treatment of our soldiers might be a start though - just bringing attention to his little project to those who would oppose it vociferously is a good start. Writing letter to him and others who may be supporting this effort might help perhaps? Again, still thinking...
