Governor's Divorce On Hold (NV)

Lawyers for Gov. Jim Gibbons and first lady Dawn Gibbons, who has accused her husband of having an affair, said Monday the couple's divorce action filed by the governor is on hold pending "an attempt to resolve issues" in the case.

Cal Dunlap, Dawn Gibbons' lawyer, and Gary Silverman, the governor's attorney, also said Dawn Gibbons will move out of the Governor's Mansion and into a guest house on the mansion grounds in Carson City. The governor, who has been staying at the couple's home in Reno, will move back into the mansion.

I warned folks about Gibbons. Being Harry Reid’s bestest RINO friend in NV was a whole crapload of warning bells right there. Beers WAS the best man for Governor. The Tom McClintock of Nevada.

Dawn doesn’t sound like a prize herself. I’m glad she wasn’t elected to congress.

We tried to do the same thing. Anyone that got passed up for leadership in Congress should've been a warning. Unfortunately, a lot of people don't pay attention like you and I, and now they're paying for it.

Many of us wanted Angle because of Heller's liberal tendencies when he was Secretary of State. Angle was by far the best, but it was close and Heller was the hometown favorite.
