It’s not so much what I will do, but what they will do.
1> Die on the vine of irrelevance, and a new party forms to their right.
2>Become a moderate, squishy party of convenience that amasses some former moderate Democrats and manages to hang on to power.
3>The current idiots running the party get drummed out and a return to conservatism ensues.
<< John 9:14 >>
"And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay and opened his eyes".
You're going to go around putting clay in people's eyes?
Pray tell, where overseas is it better?
And if such a place does exist, what will happen to it when its protector (the USA) goes the way of every preceding failed communist state?
go on a hunger strike.
All Conservatives are not Republicans ans all Republicans are not Conservatives.
I will support Conservative canidates but no longer will I support anyone who leans towards Socialism.
Time and again Republicans have asked Conservatives to vote for the lesser of two evils and each time they move a little more to the left.
Now McCains position on most issues is no different then democrats or democrats of 10 years ago.
We are NEVER stuck with something forever. For instance the constitution says I can have a gun, yet, people are trying to change that as we speak and in the future may change it. For instance Roe vs Wade is the law now but people are always talking about doing away with that and given enough judges on the Supreme Court, it can be changed. So, don’t go thinking that we are stuck with something forever.
Perhaps. But that "change" will never come through compliant voting for the lesser of two evils.
Fabulous answer. How can anyone not care about our Country.
You have to have a country, before you have a party.
Principled Conservatives are single-handedly keeping the RAT Party in power.
Prepare for war.
You and about 10 million others. Capital and expatriot flight is going to become a HUGE issue over the next few years.
Of course the dems will want a Great Wall then. To keep us IN.
Only the weak will quit or give in. They are the ones voting for McCain because they just don’t have any other choice.
The strongest of us will take the opportunity to bring this party back to what it used to represent. We aren’t going anywhere, except ahead. We’ll start taking this thing back in 2010, one Principled Conservative at a time.
It will be hard work and will take determination and dedication. It will also take time and patience.
But then, most Conservatives fully understand what it means put Principles first and party second. The “leaders” of the GOP did not understand what that meant which is why we find ourselves in this condition. But even still, that won’t stop us, it will only temporarily set us back a short while.
Courage is required to face obstacles and continue to fight the enemy that is liberalism. If you vote for McCain and work for his election you are fighting the battle.
If you refuse you have given the enemy a gift. Conciousintieous objector in this election is a poor position.

The Great Wall is already built.
Look at the new IRS rules for expatriates. I don’t have a link handy, sorry.
After 4 years of either McLame or Obama, I doubt this will be the same country we've lived in all these years.
