We are NEVER stuck with something forever. For instance the constitution says I can have a gun, yet, people are trying to change that as we speak and in the future may change it. For instance Roe vs Wade is the law now but people are always talking about doing away with that and given enough judges on the Supreme Court, it can be changed. So, don’t go thinking that we are stuck with something forever.
We'd be stuck with socialized medicine forever, and it would be decades before we could get rid of Obama's bad court choices.
