Well are you OBOTs ready for some real bad news. I am about to deliver something you never wanted to hear. "THE WHITIE TAPES ARE REAL". How do you know that for a fact. Well I have talked to that person on the phone. How do you know how bad it is.

I listen to about 2 minutes on the phone. I heard Obama's wife call Bill Clinton every dirty word there is. I also heard her say "the only reason his wife stuck with him was so she could be a senator. What a ho she is" The person that has a copy of that tape will not release it until the Tuesday before the Election in Nov. He want to destroy Obama, Rev Wright, and Louis Farrahkan. I have begged to get it release early but no way will this person do that. So what we do here really won't matter in the long run. Obama is toast and I pray Hillary will not have anything to do with him. I will continue to try to get this person to release this tape early.

Releasing this tape right before would be so contrived. If someone wants people to know who the Obamas are, it should be released much earlier.

I am starting to doubt this exists. If the person holding it has any concern at all for this country, they would get it out there.

I don’t believe this crap. I think it’s a set up, designed to bring the scandal-mongering dirt-slinging racists from their opposition to the top.

After the kooks are all singing for it to be shown, Democrat leaders will end their silence and campaign to define the Republican base by the ugliness displayed by the worst of us. They’ll use it to back up their accusations that we’re all race-baiting negro-haters who are out of ideas on only exist on hate and scandal.

It’ll be like a screen pass that catches on over aggressive opposition early in the campaign. After being burned by that, we’ll be too divided to organize on what we really should be focusing on - the most liberal Senator in America with the the most leftist base of support trying to become the most inexperienced President.

IF there really is a tape, the ideal time to release it would be right after the Dem convention. That way they are committed to Obama as their candidate.

I don't think it matters whether these tapes exist or not. I don't believe they do. but I have spoken to several family and friends who aren't political, and they have “heard” that Obama’s wife said bad things about white people, they know about the bitter comment, and rev. wright, and a couple think Obama is a Muslim. These folks aren't political, and the vast majority of them voted for Gore and Kerry. So whether there are tapes or not, some people who aren't political junkies are already believing that Michelle said these things, because it fits in with the the things we already know about. Even after I tell them I think the “whitey tapes” are rumors, they reference Bittergate or Rev. Wright. Most of them say they won't vote for Obama, but would have voted for Hillary. So whether these tapes exist or not, people are believing the rumors because it fits into the context of what we already know about Obama & his wife. Fair or not that seems to be the way its going among the non-political folks I've spoken with.

It would be nice to believe that the gop has grown some nads and are ready to really fight a down and dirty political campaign the way the democrat party ALWAYS conducts a campaign against the gop. Unfortunately I will only believe it when I hear it.

I agree. It would take a month (at least) for the damage to sink in.

I never heard for years that the dems tried an 11th hour smear tactic in 2000 as they released lies of Bush’s booze problems.

They were too late with the BS. And no one was influenced by it anyway.
