Incredible man. Is there any way we could make Obama read this man's story?

The musicians were not dissidents, or even politically inclined; but in the eyes of the Communist leaders, their music was, in and of itself, subordinate. The author means "insubordinate."

But he refused to wreak vengeance, rejected calls to outlaw the Communist Party, and strove to transcend old hatreds; he asked that all Czechs and Slovaks work together to repair the damage Communism had caused — damage to everything from the nation’s infrastructure to its very soul — and to build a new, free society of which everyone could be proud.Yet we're still chasing low-ranking 90 year old Nazi concentration camp guards.
I'm not necessarily opposed to that, but I do find it odd that everyone seems so anxious to forgive and forget the (much greater) crimes of communism.
