Well, Omar is right, the Arabs will choose theocracies over Democratic nationalism. What is even more disturbing, that the clowns who claim to be leaders of both our parties, will choose international law and government over Our Constitution and therefore cede our national sovereignty. Nationalism is endangered in the West, it was never really much on the table in the Arab world.

Nationalism is a 19th Century European invention, rooted in romanticism. Before then, we had multi-ethnic states ruled by monarchs who often spoke languages different from their subjects.
