Question:
I lead the diversity and inclusion function and we have 12 regional diversity councils that we bring together at a summit once a year. This year we are having a segment called "Ask the White Guys." Our objective is to include the white guy in the diversity conversation. Any suggestions or things we ought to think about as we moderate this segment?
Answer:
I suggest you not do this.
Diversity management is a disciplined business subject that, properly implemented, drives productivity, innovation, profitability and sustainability. It does not mean that people have an open license to sound off on their opinions.

Ask if diversity means divide and conquer and distract so that the powers that be (no color line)can implement their agendas preferably without our interference and sometimes knowledge.
I just sent this message to them:
I have NO IDEA what it is you are trying to say, but underneath it all is a level of ignorance and plain stupidity that is abysmal. After well over 20 years service in the Marine Corps, I can assure you from long experience that your “advice” is pure, unadulterated drivel. We, as a nation, need to emphasize our COMMON HERITAGE AND TRAITS. Your brand of “diversity” is nothing less than the Balkanization of this country and the attendant racial warfare it will necessarily entail.
And you actually demand to get PAID for typing this sort of stupidity? My best suggestion to you would be to go forth and get a life of your own and stop being a parasite on the rest of us. I just cannot believe that you actually had the nerve to say things like this. You’re as bad as the Race Pimps, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.
In other words, control the masses no matter what color they are.
That's what was wrong with America.

“By the time everyone (People of color in attendance) finishes explaining/educating White on the history of Black American, Civil rights, etc. the intent of the meeting can be lost.”
Educating White? Good to know that whites have no perspective or valuble input. After you “educate” us then what?
“Divide and conquer” is exactly what they are doing. Nicely stated.

I once made the mistake of joking with a coworker that the only way a middle aged, white, and male could become protected by diversity was to become gay.
He soon transitioned to “transgendered”.
(s)he later argued about diversity and protection of minorities with a black female.
“You don’t know what it is like to have society against you. How can you understand discrimination? Or being a minority?”
“If you look around, there are a whole lot more people who look like you than who look like me.”
Trangendered, still employed. Black female, no longer.
I always wished I had walked out before the end of the 1st day. I think I would do so for one of these sessions.
Even on the moon, they’re racist.
Anyone else notice that PC only covers minorities and women?
How does one become a “diversity professional”?
I feel so unprofessional...
Is that from Rocky Horror Picture Show?
I guess it really doesn’t matter what we think.
We’re too busy running the nation’s governments, military and businesses to attend anyway.
Hey, that’s a diverse group. I think all the military services were represented there.
Thank you.

In your summation, near the end as you mention “..explaining/educating White..,” I believe you left off a letter since it appears you intended to speak of “whitey.”
But you aren’t prejudiced, we all know that.
Unfortunately most corporations have programs now.
I don’t know about the rest of y’all crackers, but I’m at the point where, in my professional life, I refuse to comment on race, no matter what the question. As a white man, it’s too dangerous for me to do so. If you criticize any minority, you’re a flat-out racist. If you compliment any minority, you’re a paternalistic racist. It doesn’t matter that you see people as people and not as races because, ironically, those enlightened a-holes in the diversity industry insist on seeing everything through race-vision.
So I’m done. I treat people equally, and as far as I know, race doesn’t exist.
I would tell all the black bruthas to take the day off and tell all the white muthas that they better not be late for the meeting.
