Question:
I lead the diversity and inclusion function and we have 12 regional diversity councils that we bring together at a summit once a year. This year we are having a segment called "Ask the White Guys." Our objective is to include the white guy in the diversity conversation. Any suggestions or things we ought to think about as we moderate this segment?
Answer:
I suggest you not do this.
Diversity management is a disciplined business subject that, properly implemented, drives productivity, innovation, profitability and sustainability. It does not mean that people have an open license to sound off on their opinions.

I had 2 great great grandfathers fight during the Civil War. One was seriously wounded at the battle of Pleasant Hill, LA. Another gr gr uncle was killed at Gettysburg. Paying the ultimate price.
None of my relatives owned slaves....but one of my first relatives to come to these shores was an indentured servant...taken prisoner in Scotland and brought over here. There were many indentured servants brought to America, should their descendants sue for reparations from England and Scotland ? Or from our own government for allowing such practices to exist?
“Rherorical question.”
You know what’s really sad? I had completely forgotten that I was raised with that as the ideal for America, until you mentioned it.
I was going to go on... but the negativity won’t help, so I’ll just say I’m very pessimistic about America’s future.
“But it ain’t “equality”, is it?”
That’s why the quotes. The race baiters and self hating white libs think it is. Actually, they know it’s not equality, but they enjoy the payback.
Hell no. This is what the liberals mean by "diversity":
Diversity, in corporate America, is just a way to hire incompetent people.
The reason is the to keep the race hustling poverty pimps (Jesse Jackson and his ilk) from coming after the companies.
Good people of any skin color do not need stupid “diversity” programs.
10-4 bump
It may not exactly be "equality" but, my goodness, it's fair!
And isn't that what we really want for everybody? Fairness?
As defined by...who?
“People of color in attendance) finishes explaining/educating White on the history of Black American”
Translation: after we explain why something that happened to our ancestors 400 years ago makes us totally incapable of being educated, working, competing or even learning standard English and why it’s your responsibility (White) to make amends for this 400 year old injustice, even though the only commonality you share with the perpetrators is your skin tone. And we still don’t think you really get it.
“I told him there was a big problem with his theory. A pendulum always swings back the other way.”
I agree. I feel my own disgust and impatience with multiculturalism and diversity as it’s practiced in America today. I am not a young man, if I were, I’m fairly certain this would translate to rage.
Here is the problem. Power is being transferred on the basis of skin color only. Ability is barely even a consideration. What happens when you allow the incompetent, and incapable run things? Worse yet, you get people in positions of power that are more concerned with making whitey pay, then getting the job done.
This swing of the pendulum is going to break things in a significant way. And when it swings back, it won’t be pretty.
Diversity is the sham altar before which the Disciples of Divisiveness genuflect.
I was gonna say "Balkans got diversity; fat lot of good it does them".
That fixes it.
Al Queda from without. P.C. from within. Which is the greater threat?
The MSM.
Because, without the media, al-Queda would've been defeated long ago and P.C. would've been dismissed for the silliness that it is.
Bump
Zimbabwe is what happens.
