Sorry, I just had to post this part of the Editorial Boards Endorsement:
"...Jenerette has a smile made for political talk shows..."
When you're getting older like I am it's hard to pass up the few compliments you hear! And not many Army Paratroopers get this kind of compliment. Must have been one of my better days!
Thanks for the kind words and the hard questions for my campaign.

Katherine

The older I get the more anti-incumbent I become. What a mess this bunch has made of everything. If I was a South Carolina voter, this young lady wound have my vote in a heart-beat.

I cannot believe that you are only receiving 'few' compliments, holy smokes! If I were running your campaign, I would have to resist the temptation to engage in style over substance advertising, such as "Keep America Beautiful, Vote For Katherine Jenerette", things like that. ;)
On a more serious note, if you make clear to the electorate that you stand for conservative Republican principles, that you understand (as I have no doubt that you do) that America is faced with a literal struggle for survival in this world with enemies whose goal is our subjugation and/or our utter destruction, they can come to no other conclusion than to send you to Washington.
Good luck and the very best to you and your family.

I’ve lived in Charleston for over 20 years and I’ve never seen or heard of this paper.

Ugh, they also endorsed Lindsey Graham, although they did mention that he is an irritating little twit.

Congrats Katherine!
I have a really hard time understanding why this paper would publish this:
Although a few of his votes or comments may have irritated us, Lindsey Graham has voted well overall, and as a close friend of the man who could easily be the next president, Senator Graham is in an enviable position to influence public policy more than most second term senators. An energetic lawmaker, Senator Graham will serve South Carolinians well in a second term.
Lindsey, you have my solemn promise to do all I can next Tues to see to it that you're job hunting next Jan.
Senator Graham in an enviable position? Only if you're interested in the further destruction of our precious country.
