Press Release for June 14th "We Support Our Troops" Rally in Pullman, Washington
Later this year, many Palouse-area National Guard troops will be deploying to Iraq. Theyll be spending long months away from their family and friends, doing difficult and dangerous work.
Before they leave, let's show our local servicemembers how much we appreciate them! Come to the Pullman Troop Support Rally at Reaney Park on Saturday, June 14th, from 10:00 to noon, to meet our local troops and wish them well.
If you'd like to write letters or send care packages to our soldiers while they're deployed, be sure to visit with the volunteers who are setting up a local troop support group. Theyll be at Reaney Park in Pullman from 10:00 to noon on Saturday, June 14th.
Lets make this the best troop support rally ever . . . well see you there!
I am in CA but posting for my friend in WA, can give you contact info.
WAZZU bump.
We’ve got relatives in Pullman. I’ll pass the word along to them.
Cool, Diver Dave. Thanks a bunch.
Maybe they will meet my friend Becky:)
Dino Rossi will be visiting Pullman on June 10, @ Schweitzer Engineering Event Center

Very nice, and someone went ahead and posted the troop rally press release on the blog also. :):)
Yep, I work with the owner of the blog...
Inside job...
Check it out today... we are lacking the global warming here.. LOL
Oh my, looks like a blizzard.... yuk.
It’s rather gloomy in SoCal at the moment.
Global warming is being rationed to about 2 hours mid-day:)
You will get yours later, along with the stimulus check;^).
LOL...
It seems that “my people” talked with “your people” and your guy is going to be speaking at the Rally!!:):)
Now, if only that snow would clear and Spring would arrive....
Snow what snow, we waited the required 5 minutes and now the sun is out.. LOL
okay we waited more than 5 minutes, looks like mid 70’s and sunshine for the weekend... unless it changes in the next 5 minutes ;P
Sounds like our weather made it up your way:)
Whoopeee....
Bumping in anticipation of AAR.
Your (friend’s) blog is featuring the Rally prominently and it seems to have come off well. Becky is wrapping up details and will send an AAR when available.
Yep, there is also a small get together coming up in Colton WA, about 15 minutes away from Pullman, for a couple of the guys heading to Iraq too at the Colton Gun Club.
The morale boost they get from the support cannot be underestimated. It is good for everyone involved:-).
