Hillary Clinton publicly and enthusiastically endorsed Barack Obama for president Saturday in Washington D.C., as she suspended her historic bid for the White House.

“The way to continue our fight now … is to take our energy, our passion, our strength and do all that we can to help elect Barack Obama the next president of the United States,” she said to cheering supporters. “Today as I suspend my campaign, I congratulate him on the victory he has won, and the extraordinary race he has run. I endorse him and throw my full support behind him.”

Somehow I do not believe that she is out. First it is just suspended, second did anyone else notice that 99% of the speech was all about her, and third her body language and voice both changed each time she said Barak Obama almost like she was forcing herself to do it. I fully expected the crowd to start chanting “DENVER”!

There was a better chance of defeating Hillary in the general and minimizing the damage

I happen to agree with you. However, that is not the case according to the polling data. Hard as this is to believe to those of us who follow politics, Hillary was seen as the Moderate Democrat in the race by most voters!

The first 500 times, it was complaining.

Now. It’s whining.

What is it after he becomes president and pushes amnesty? Or sides with the left because he wants to reach across the aisle? Or appoints a liberal judge to the SCOTUS? Wise up.

The happiest one out there today is: Bill Clinton. Now he doesn’t have to worry about Hillary upstaging his legacy! He won’t be the “first man”...

If OBAMA wins another nightmare...

Yes at least! I should say the WORST nightmare would be more appropriate.
McCAIN is not proposing a planned socialist economy,a systematic appeasement with islamist, and the promotion of gay mariage

I keep seeing this word “historic” tossed around the mainstream media concerning both Obama and Hillary. This kind of hyper-ventilating superlative grows tiresome after a while...

I agree completely but will not let anyone tell me Im whining when i speak the truth.

McCain will take the oath and say "America has spoken...they want me to run things and heres what Im gonna do...." and we know exactly what that will be. And it will be a republican doing it. Leaving tghe door wide open for Hillary or Obama in four years.

I agree, she said what she had to say. But she’s Hillary Clinton, she never forgets a grudge. And anyone who ever opposes her is the enemy. Does anyone really think, when she thought she was the inevitable rat candidate, that she’s going to support the man who threw a monkey wrench into her fondest dream?

When she begins divorce proceedings against Bill, that’s when I’ll believe that she’s forsaken her White House ambitions.

How about you and everyone else bashing McCain around here 24/7 stop worrying about whether you’re whining (at this point, you are), and address this:

OBAMA IS THE PROBLEM.

John McCain is not the problem.

“Today as I suspend my campaign, I congratulate him on the victory he has won, and the extraordinary race he has run. I endorse him and throw my full support behind him.”

Really! Ok Hillary, by endosing Obama and throwing your "full" support behind him I guess you are giving him your delegates?

Folks, she has not quit anything and I fully expect a bomb to drop on the Obama campaign sometime between now and the convention.
