A mistrial has been declared for the man accused of the 2006 shootings at a Seattle Jewish center that left a woman dead and five people wounded. Jurors had indicated in questions posed to the judge that they were hopelessly deadlocked over whether the defendant, Naveed Haq, was not guilty by reason of insanity as he claims.

Nothing said about jury size or if there is a requirement (I assume that there is) for unanimous verdict. Sounds like all may agree as to guilt but some (or even a single one) hold or insanity.

Seattle has a memory like a sieve -— it suits their liberal politics well, and serves the people poorly. They are too busy now campaigning for Obama to remember a horrific crime that happens months and months ago.
