Staff members will draft language for the issues before the council decides whether to include them on the Nov. 4 ballot.

The tax questions being studied by the city include removing Taxpayer's Bill of Rights restrictions on property taxes; renewing an expiring 0.38 percent sales tax; and increasing the city's Development Excise Tax.

The council decided against asking residents to approve renewing an expiring 0.15 percent sales tax, citing an already packed ballot.

You knew what you were getting into when you decided to run so deal with it like the rest of us.

As for secret meetings...forget it. You work on my dime I want to know what goes on behind those doors.

Last, but not least, forget about allowing "non-U.S. citizens to serve on city boards and commissions." If they want to serve then they should go through the process of becoming a US citizen and to have the right to serve on such boards and commissions

“Boulder City Council seeking pay raise — again”

It’s an age-old strategy:

“Dad, will you take us to Krusy-land?”... No.
“Dad, will you take us to Krusy-land?”... No.
“Dad, will you take us to Krusy-land?”... No.
“Dad, will you take us to Krusy-land?”... NO!
“Dad, will you take us to Krusy-land?”...

Look kids, if agree to take you to Krusty-land will you STOP ASKING?

Yes.

Okay.
